106 / Handling many calls at once
There are also three SWCA feature codes that provide flexibility for
parking and accessing SWCA calls. These are especially useful for users
with non-visible SWCA assignemtns.
≤•fi¤‚ searches for the next available free assigned SWCA
position and parks the call on that position. SWCA positions assigned
to memory buttons will be searched first. If there are no available
SWCA buttons, the system searches for any available assigned non-
appearance SWCA positions.
≤•fi‹‡ retrieves the call that has been sitting on an assigned
SWCA position the longest. The system searches only on codes
assigned to the telehone.
≤•fi‹° retrieves the call that has most recently been parked
on an assigned SWCA position. The system searches only on codes
assigned to the telehone.

determining how the system will assign calls to SWCA codes, and how the
Hold feature will perform.
Tips -
check with your system administrator to ensure that park
is turned on for your system.
A SWCA call on park that exceeds the park timeout timer
is released from the SWCA button and rings again at the
original telephone.
Each group telephone must either have a line appearance of the call coming
in, or a free intercom button to be able to retrieve a SWCA call.

Special code function note -
search and park codes only search among SWCA
settings actually assigned to the telephone from
which the code is envoked. To park and retrieve
calls between groups with different sets of SWCA
assignments, users still need to use the voice call
or page feature to notify other users about SWCA
assignments that are not specifically assigned.
