In this figure an AMP connector 350779-1 is needed to connect to the system EPO panel. For room EPa
cables using wire sizes #20 AWG to #24 AWG use AMP pins part number 770010-4.
EPO Card Location
The EPa Card is located in the right front of the frame. It contains the emergency power off switch.
EPO LED Descriptions
The EPa Card has 2 LEOs
• 5V STBY (GREEN) indicates the presence of standby voltage.
• DEVICE ACTIVITY (YELLOW) indicates activity to the SEEPROM. May blink when frame needs
service.
EPO Switch Description:
The EPO Card has 3 switches.
• Main Switch (Rocker)
Removes power from all FRUs if placed in the off (down) position when the UEPO BYPASS switches
on both OCAs are in the NORM position.
• ROOM EPO BYPASS Switch (Rocker with pull out interlock)
ACTIVE position is used when a room EPO cable is installed. This cable ties the machine EPO into
the room EPO. The cable can be plugged only if the switch is in the ACTIVE position.
BYPASS position must be used when there is no room EPO cable installed.
• RESET 10SP Switch (Pushbutton)
Momentary actuation by pushing the switch down resets the 1/0 and Service Processor.
