The data was put on the diskette by using the COpy command or the AW88RAM2 command and was

Installing S/390 Integrated Server Software
The 10SP Software is made up of the OS/2 operating system, S/390 code and device drivers, and is
installed on the C: drive which resides on the SSA DASD. To install the software the 88A dasd must be
configured and arrays built and made available to OS/2.
Note ----------------------------------------------------------------,
The most up-to-date version of these instructions is always contained on the latest 8/390 Integrated
Server Install CD as file README.CDI.
Depending on what your current configuration is and what activity you plan on dOing you will be required
to follow different parts of this procedure.
• New Integrated Server with blank disks
This also applies if you want to start totally from scratch, thereby destroying any data that is contained
on the SSA drives. For example, A system may come from IBM manufacturing with a single RAID-5
array of three SSA drives. Since no customization has been done yet, the array can be safely deleted
and recreated using the full set of drives that the customer has purchased.

SSA array, then you should follow ONLY these steps to configure an additional RAID 5 array.
Note that you should not dedicate more than one hot spare disk per machine· a single hot spare disk
can be shared between multiple arrays.
