For the OCA that has the LOAD FL T indicator ON,
exchange the following FRU:
• OCA
When complete, continue on step 37.

• Set the EPO switch on the front of the machine
to the off (down) position. Wait 10 seconds.
• Set the EPO switch back to the on position.
Wait 2 minutes.
Did the OCA indicators labelled LOAD FL T go
ON
again?
YES
NO

A short circuit has cleared and is no longer
present on the machine. A defective FRU
may indicate a logic fault. Wait for the
display panel to boot and check for errors.
Otherwise, call for assistance.
End of procedure
• Unfasten the PCI cage from the frame and
back the cage out about 7.5 mm (3 in.). Do not
unplug completely or remove any cables at this
point.
•
Push the button labelled PWR RESET on
BOTH OCAs
• Wait 2 minutes.
Is the fault cleared (LOAD FL T indicator
OFF
for
both OCAs)?
YES
NO
