Potential adverse effect on the IP rating
• Check the gasket for damage and replace it if
necessary before closing the housing cover.
• Check that the gaskets are properly seated when
closing the housing cover.

Adjusting the transmitter position

Depending on the installation position, the transmitter
housing or LCD display can be rotated to enable horizontal
readings.
In addition, the display in the LCD indicator can be rotated
by 180° using the parameter 'Display Rotation' (see Menu:
Display on page 86).
Transmitter housing
DANGER
Damaging the device carries a risk of explosion!
When the screws for the transmitter housing are
loosened, the explosion protection is suspended.
Tighten all screws prior to commissioning.
Never disconnect the transmitter housing from the
sensor. Only loosen the screws shown when rotating the
transmitter housing!
