7.7 Acknowledging hardware replacement
Preconditions
● The Safety Integrated Extended Functions have been configured.
● The access level is as a minimum key-operated switch level 3.
Replacing hardware when necessary
Error messages are output, if, for a drive with assigned Safety Integrated Extended Functions,
the Motor Module or the TM54F Terminal Module is replaced using a spare part. Before these
error messages are evaluated, carry out the following steps.

Select the "Diagnostics" operating area.
Press the "Alarm list" softkey.
The alarms that are present are output.
The following alarm is decisive:
27035 "Axis %1 new hardware component, confirmation and
functional test required."
Press the "Acknowledge SI HW" softkey.
You then receive a request. Here you confirm that you will perform a complete function
test for Safety Integrated for all of the drives with the new hardware components!
When replacing a sensor module or DRIVE-CLiQ motor, this specifically means:
● Re-calibrating the actual value encoder.
● Checking the SI actual value acquisition: Speeds, traversing direction, absolute
position (if required, set the user agreement).
● Documenting the new checksum values.
● Documenting the hardware and software version data of the new component.
When replacing a TM54F terminal module:
● Testing the selection of the safety functions
● Functional testing of the forced dormant error detection
For more detailed information, see: Acceptance tests (Page 113).
Press "OK" to initiate a reset (warm start) for the NC and the complete drive system.
Then perform a complete function test for Safety Integrated according to the acceptance
test and acceptance report.
