Setting areas of the individual safety functions
An acceptance test can be carried out for every safety function used on the machine. Although
the list in the window shows all of the safety functions, it is possible that not all safety functions
are used on a particular machine. In this case, the part of the acceptance test involved (test
type) can be deactivated for the safety function that is not used. In this case, activate the test
type involved:
When testing a safety function (e.g. SOS), the response of the safe monitoring is checked,
and it is recorded if individual function tolerances are exceeded.
Example: An axis is traversed. The test then checks how quickly the safety function responded
and to what extent the axis still moved outside the tolerance window.
