Define a colour preset

A colour preset consists of a series of pre-defined colour settings. Colour presets help to easily
select the correct colour settings during the job definition. You select from the same set of colour
presets in PRISMAprepare, automated workflows, Remote Manager, the remote printer driver,
and on the control panel.
The job properties on the control panel and in Remote Manager allow you to change one or more
attributes of the job colour preset. After that you can save the changed colour preset. The colour
preset becomes visible in the list of colour presets. (

There are two factory defined colour presets.
• Office documents
This colour preset is optimal for colour reproduction of text and graphical lines in office
documents. PRISMAsync Print Server converts source colours to more saturated output
colours.
• Photographic content
This colour preset is optimal for the reproduction of photographs and illustrations.

1. Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Colour]→[Colour presets].
2. Use the [Add] or [Edit] function.
3. Define the attributes of the colour preset. (
4. Click [OK].
