When inserting EPROMs into the expansion EPROM slots, orient
them according to the silkscreen printed on the board, as shown in
Figure 3-1. The 2764, 27128, 27256 and 27512 EPROMs have
fewer pins than the expansion sockets. In these cases, align the
bottom pins of the EPROM with the bottom pins of the socket,
leaving the top pins open, as illustrated in Figure 3-5.
Improper EPROM installation can result in damage to the
EPROM, 1260-00C, or both
