Install snow sensor into the ground surface
The following illustrations show how to install the snow

sensor into the ground surface.
1. Create a notch for the cable conduit (maximum
diameter of 23 mm). It is recommended to use

a cable conduit equipped with a cord, in order
to make it easier to pull the cable through when
installed.

2. Insert the sensor tube in the hole where the sensor
is to be installed. Make sure it is securely embedded
in relation to the expected surface load.

3. Insert the supplied wood plug into the sensor tube

before applying the concrete/asphalt.

4. Apply the concrete/asphalt.
5. Remove the wood plug when the concrete/asphalt
has cured.
6. Ensure that the sunsor tube is clean.
7. Insert the sensor cable and route it into the cable
conduit. Ensure that the cable is not damaged on
any sharp edges.
