Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at
the ignition key alarm switch
2. Ignition ON, verify the scan tool Key In Ignition
Status parameter is Key Out.
➢ If not Key Out, test the key in ignition signal circuit
for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal,
replace the BCM.
3. If all circuits test normal, test or replace the ignition
switch.
