Step
1. Connect a test lamp between the sunroof motor
open control circuit at the harness connector,
module side, and ground.

2. Operate the sunroof switch to the Open, Non
Express, position.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
Test the sunroof motor open control circuit for a short to
voltage. Refer to "Circuit Testing: " and "Wiring Repairs:

Test the sunroof motor close control circuit for a short to
voltage. Refer to "Circuit Testing: " and "Wiring Repairs:

1. Connect a test lamp between the sunroof motor
open control circuit to battery positive voltage at the
sunroof motor harness connector.

2. Operate the sunroof switch to the Open, Non
Express, position.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
1. Connect a test lamp between the sunroof motor
open control circuit to ground.

2. Press the sunroof switch to the open direction for 3
seconds.
Did the test lamp illuminate?
Test the sunroof motor open control circuit for a short to
ground. Refer to "Circuit Testing: " and "Wiring Repairs:

Test the sunroof motor close control circuit for an open,
a short to ground, or high resistance. Refer to "Circuit
