Front seat base trim: Removal - Refitting
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Position the vehicle on a two-post lift (see Vehicle:
Towing and lifting) (MR 415, 02A, Lifting equip-
ment).
a Disconnect the battery (see Battery : Removal -
Refitting) (MR 415, 80A, Battery).
a Remove:
- the compete front seat (see 75A, Front seat fra-
mes and mechanisms, Complete front seat: Re-
moval - Refitting, page 75A-15) ,
- the lower seat covers (see 77A, Front seat trim,
Front seat lower cover: Removal - Refitting,
page 77A-8) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Remove the elastic band (1) .

a Remove the retaining section (2) .
a Disconnect the connectors (depending on equip-
ment level).
a Remove the retaining sections (3) .
a Remove the front seat base « foam - trim » assem-
bly.
