be iDsWled. Shims arc supplied in sizes of .01<t. 0.3Z. 0.64 and .125. The

40 foot pounds. property alianed. with the countcr-sunk .hole

On late PA·Z....180 and PA-Z4-Z'50. and

PA·Z....Z60 and PA·Z4-0400 airplanes. the cleW has a
lock-inK nut applied to the threaded ponion of the clevis stUd (refer to Fipre
6~15).

this clevis are .032 only
and
a maximum of three may be insca11ed.

With the main and nose ,ear down and lodted. adjust the push.,ull rod end
fittinl
until the hole in
the rod cnd
bcarina alians
with the bole
in
the
clC'ris.
then cum the rod end in one complete cum. For
proper clearance of the clevis. install the
clevis
bolt with the countenunk ponion
at
the left or outboard
side.
