• When you originate a collect call (106), the called party will be charged a handling fee (¥90) along with the call
charge.
• When you originate a call to directory assistance (104), you will be charged an inquiry charge along with the
call charge. Directory assistance is provided free of charge if you are visually impaired or have an upper limb
disability. Call 116 (NTT Inquiries) for more information. Plase dial 116 (no area/city code) from a general
home/office phone.
• When you originate a call to Shinkansen (Bullet Train) (107), you will be charged a paging fee (¥100) along
with the call charge. Calls to certain Shinkansen (Bullet Train) may not be possible.
• When you originate a call to 110 (Police) or 119 (Fire/Ambulance), the operator cannot tell where you are
calling from. Tell the operator that you are calling from a mobile/PDA (car phone), then give your phone number
(the police or fire department might have to call you for further information) and precise location. Remain still
during the call so that the call is not dropped and do not turn off the Digital Mova immediately after you finish
the call. Leave it on for about 10 minutes so you are able to receive calls.
• There is a possibility that you will not be connected to the nearest fire department or police station depending
on the area you are calling from. In such case, originate the call from a nearby payphone or ground phone.
• If you subscribe to the Call Forwarding Service or Voice Warp and you have designated a mobile/PDA (car
phone) number as the call forwarding number, the caller may hear a ring back tone when you are in a call,
outside the service area or the Digital Mova is off.
• Services such as 116 (NTT Inquiries), Dial Q2, Message Dial, and credit card calls are not available (automatic
credit calls can be originated to the Digital Mova from ground home/office phones or payphones).
