Setting Countdown as the
Screen saver
If you set [Countdown] as the [Screen
saver], the name of an event appears
scrolling from right to left on the screen
repeatedly. The remaining days until the
registered date appear under the event
name.

saver] /[Type] /[Countdown] from the
menu

Set each item
<Date>
Sets the date of an event.
<Event>
Enters the name of an event.
You can enter 14 two-byte/28 one-byte
characters.

Check
• You cannot set the [Countdown] as the [Screen
saver] unless the name of an event is entered.
• You cannot set [Countdown] unless the date and
time are set in [Date/time]
• If you try to set a date before the current date set in
[Date/time]

and the cursor is positioned back to Date.
Hint
• The date of the event still remains on the screen
even if the date changes to next day while the
screen is displayed.
• When [Countdown] is set, the remaining days are
updated everyday and only the name of the event
is displayed when the day of the event is reached.
After the day of the event, [Screen saver] is
automatically turned [OFF].
