Establishing FAX communication
You can establish FAX communication using DoCoMo optional equipment such as a
[Mobile Card Triplex N] or [Mobile Data Adaptor 96 F2 Kit 1].
It is not necessary to set the Digital Mova for automatic/manual transmission and
reception.
But the following setting is necessary for communications with a G4 FAX (FAX with G3
function). (Do not perform the following setting for communication with G3FAX or PC
communication.)
Refer to the instruction manual that comes with each optional equipment for details.

• You cannot use the conventional option "Modem
unit " or "FAX unit."
• Some models of FAX need modification in the
setting. Consult each FAX manufacturer.
• You cannot establish data communication using
the switched ear microphone terminal.
• Data/FAX communications may be adversely
affected when you are in a place with poor
reception of radio waves or while you are moving.
• When you set [Fax mode] during a call, the
screen returns to that during conversation if you
press
