Digital Mova

The Digital Mova is a mobile phone operating on radio frequencies, and cannot be used
in places where radio waves don't reach, such as inside tunnels, underground or in
buildings. It also may not be used in high-rise buildings though the radio waves are not
blocked. In such case you may also experience interruption of calls even when the radio
waves are strong enough with the three antennas on the screen.
Use the phone with consideration to others to avoid disturbing other people when in public.

Since the Digital Mova operates on radio frequencies for telecommunications, an
unauthorized third party can intercept the calls. However, the Digital Mova uses a digital
scrambler, so an unauthorized third party will only hear noise when tuning into your call.
The Digital Mova converts your voice into digital signals and sends them to the other

party. However, the sent signals may not be converted correctly to the other party in
places where the radio waves are weak.

It is possible to lose your data in the Digital Mova by accident or failure. We recommend
that you back up your important data. DoCoMo will not be held responsible for any lost
data registered in the phone.
