Displaying the name of the caller
You can set the Digital Mova so that the name and phone number of the caller registered
to the Address book appear on the screen when you receive or originate a call.

Select [Settings] / [Call setting] /
[Disp. name] from the menu

to select
[ON]/[OFF]
ON : Sets to display the name and phone
number.
OFF : Sets to display only the phone number.

• When the phone number is registered in the
[Secret mode], the name does not appear unless
the [Secret mode]

• When [add. book block]
the name does not appear.
• When some phone numbers are registered, the
name of the phone number with the smallest
Memory Number appears.
• When the registered phone number includes a
"184", "186" or "1310 - 1319" prefix, the name
appears if the number after those number
coincides with the notified number. When
originating a call, the name appears if the phone
number including those number coincides with the
number registered in the Address book.
• When the registered phone number includes "P",
the name appears if the number before "P"
coincides with the notified number.

• When the registered phone number includes "-",
the name appears if the number excluding "-"
coincides with the notified number.
• Up to 8 two-byte/16 one-byte characters of the
name from the beginning are displayed.
Hint
• When [Disp. name] is turned [ON], both the name
and phone number are recorded in the Redial
record and the Incoming record.
