Suspending mail function
If you are not using the mail function, you
can suspend the mail function at the i-
mode center. When you disable the mail
function, the IN Mail is returned to the
sender as unknown addresses.

Check
• If you suspend the mail function
cannot receive any mail. The sender will receive an
error message of unknown address.
• If you try to send mail when the mail function is
disabled, a message such as "Invalid address"
appears.
• When you send mail or make an inquiry at the
center while the mail function is disabled, you are
charged with the packet communication fee for
the communication.
• If you change the mail address before the mail
function is disabled, you may not be able to use
the previous mail address when the mail function
is restored.
Hint
• When the mail function is suspend, the i-mode
center does not held any new mail that you receive.
• The mail stored by the i-mode center before the
mail function is suspended are stored as they are.
Receive those by [Message inquiry] within 30
days (720 hours).
