• When you paste the cut or copied characters to
the area to which characters are already entered,
they are overwritten by the cut or copied
characters.
Entering a phone number
When you select an item for phone number entry, the screen to enter phone numbers
appears. You can enter up to 24-digit phone number.
Example : When entering a phone number "09049112222" on the "Edit add. book" screen.

The entered phone number is fixed and the "Edit
add. book" screen is resumed.
Check
• You cannot enter "-" (hyphen) or "P" (pause) to
the first digit place.
• If an " " (asterisk) or "#" (pound) is included in
the telephone number saved, then that telephone
number will not be dialed properly. The call can
be originated if these symbols follow the
telephone number. Note that a "-" (hyphen) can
be inserted anywhere in the telephone number
when originating a call. If a "P" is added in a
telephone number the dialing process is paused
before the "P."
