Handling Precautions
◆Common precautions
● Do not get the Digital Mova, Battery pack or adaptor (including charger) wet because they are not
water-proof. Do not use it in a bath, and so on, humid places or places that may be easy to get wet
by rain. When you put the phone close to your body, your sweat may cause corrosion inside the
phone, resulting in trouble. Note that the warranty may not cover repairs of malfunctions if we
conclude that the result of investigation is due to getting your mobile phone wet.
● Do not put the Digital Mova in a place where it receives too much force. If you put the phone in a bag
packed with various goods or if you sit down with the phone in your pocket, the indicator or internal
circuits may be damaged or broken. In this case the warranty will be voided.
● When cleaning, wipe the phone with a dry and soft cloth.
If you use a wet cloth, trouble may be caused. If you use benzene, thinner, alcohol or detergent,
printed characters may be erased or the color may be wiped off.
● Clean the terminals with a dry swab. If the terminals are dirty, the contact is poor and charging may
be disabled.
● Do not put the phone near the air vent. Doing so may cause condensation due to sudden change in
temperature, resulting in internal corrosion.
◆Precautions about the Digital Mova
● Use the phone in a place with the temperature between 5°C and 35°C, the humidity between 35%
and 85 %. Do not use or store it in a place with an extremely high or low temperature.
● If you use the phone near a ground home/office phone, TV or radio, it may be adversely affected.
Use in a place away from them.
● Do not put the Digital Mova in a place easy to get dirty.
◆Precautions about the battery pack
● Do not dispose of the unnecessary battery pack together with other daily wastes. Paste vinyl tape to the
terminals for insulation and bring it to us or dispose of according to the local rules that request batteries to
be separated.
◆Precautions about the adaptor (including charger)
● Do not charge the battery in the following places.
• The ambient temperature is lower than 5°C or more than 35°C.
• With humidity, much dirt or vibrations (malfunctions may be caused).
• Near a radio (Noises of the radio may interfere with the phone).
● When you do not use the AC adaptor, unplug from the power outlet and store the power cord in the
AC adaptor main unit.
● When you do not use the DC adaptor or car adaptor, unplug from the cigar lighter socket to prevent
the car battery from draining.
