Precautions
¡Never reconstruct the Digital Mova or the accessories.
•
Fire, injury or malfunction may result.
•
The technical standards of mobile/PDA (car phone) are stipulated by legislation to prevent
a mixture of radio waves and network malfunctions. Mobile/PDA (car phone) that do not
satisfy the technical standards cannot be used.
•
Phone repair will only be provided if all reconstructed parts (replaced, reconstructed,
painted, etc.) are returned to their original appearance (DoCoMo Standard Parts). Note that
phone repair may be refused depending on the reconstruction.
Malfunctions and damages caused by modification cannot be repaired free even during the
warranty period.
•
Any malfunction or damage caused by such modifications shall be repaired at cost even
during the warranty period.
¡Do not remove the panel stickers from the Digital Mova.
The panel stickers indicate that the Digital Mova satisfies the technical standards. Repairs
may not be possible if the panel sticker is intentionally removed, replaced or damaged to the
point that the description is unidentifiable, since this makes it impossible to determine whether
the Digital Mova has passed the proper technical standards for operation in this country.
¡The ON/OFF settings of various functions, total call cost and other information may be reset
(cleared) if the Digital Mova malfunctions, requires repairs or is mishandled. In this case you
are required to reset the functions accordingly.
¡Data stored in the telephone book or memory may be altered or lost if the Digital Mova
malfunctions, undergoes repairs or other undesirable operations . To prevent this we
recommend that you keep separate written records of the data in your telephone book, etc.
¡When the Digital Mova is repaired or changed to a new model, you cannot transfer the saved
information, which is downloaded with i-mode/i ppli due to the copyright laws.
