Originating/receiving a call using the switch-attached ear
microphone
If you connect the P001 (ear microphone with a switch (optional)) to the ear microphone
terminal

microphone.
To use the ear microphone with a switch, open the cover of the ear microphone terminal
and insert the connection plug of the ear microphone with a switch.
If you register a phone number in the Memory Number [499] of the Address book, you
can call the phone number just by pressing the switch of the ear microphone.
Originating a call

Depress the switch of the ear
microphone for more than 1 second
A short beep is emitted twice, then you will hear a
ring back tone.
Start conversation when the other party answers
your call.

When the call is finished, depress the
same switch for more than 1 second
A long beep is emitted, and the call is cut off.
You can cut off the call by pressing
Digital Mova.
Receiving a call

When there is an incoming call, depress
the switch of the ear microphone for
more than 1 second
A short beep is emitted twice, and the call is
connected.

When the call is finished, depress the
same switch for more than 1 second
A long beep is emitted and the call is cut off.
You can cut off the call by pressing
Digital Mova.

Check
• If you hear a short intermittent signals like a busy
tone when you terminate a call, press
Digital Mova to clear that signal.
• When [add. book block]
you cannot originate a call by pressing the switch
of the ear microphone.
• If you have a registration at "499" of the memory
number in the Address book and the other party
terminates the call, press
• When the phone number in the Memory Number
of the

"499" is registered in [Secret mode], you cannot
originate a call by pressing the switch of the ear
microphone unless [Secret mode]
turned [ON].
• Do not wind the cord of the ear microphone
around the Digital Mova. Doing so may
deteriorate the function of the antenna.
• If you put the cord of the ear microphone close to
the antenna, noises may be caused.
Hint
• You can set the position at which the ringer tone
is emitted in [Earphone].
• When [Auto answer]
can automatically receive an incoming call. Refer
