<protect on/off>
Lock mail/message
You can lock (protect) a received/sent mail and messages that you want to save. The
locked mail/message is not overwritten even if you receive new mail/message when the
maximum number of mail/messages is saved. You can lock up to 150 received
messages, up to 20 OUT Mail, and up to 20 messages.
This section describes how to lock the mail. To unlock the mail, select [protect on/off]
from the submenu and conduct similar operations.

• You cannot lock unread mail, unread message or
unsent mail.
• If you lock the IN Mail
data from the detailed screen, the image data will
be locked (protected) along with the image mail.
You can lock up to five mail along with an image.
If you attempt to lock more than five, a warning
sound is emitted and the message "Insufficient
memory to protect graphic data" appears and only
the text in the mail is locked.
• If you lock the mail from the list, only the text of
the mail will be locked.
• Though you acquire the image data once, when
you return to the show URL display
the [graphics URL], the image shown will not be
locked (protected).
