The setpoint remains operated until the parameter that triggered the setpoint reverts
to its release limit. While the trigger parameter is in the band between its operate and
release limits (dead band), the setpoint will remain operated.
When release conditions are fulfilled, i.e., all trigger parameters are behind their
release limits (high current ≤ 1450 A, and both power factors ≥ 0.9), the setpoint is
triggered for release. If for the following 5-second interval, the release conditions do
not change, the setpoint is released. If relay #1 is not operated by another setpoint, it
will be deactivated. No other actions will be made.
Using Logical Triggers
Example 4-2 illustrates usage of logical triggers for setpoint operation. The setpoint
monitors status input #5, and records predefined parameters in data log partition #2
(the set of parameters should be specified for the partition separately) on each new
maximum block kW demand occurrence while status input #5 remains asserted. No
delays are used. For clarity, unused conditions and actions are not shown.
Note that discrete input #5 should be configured as a status input for the setpoint to
be operated.

Using Pulse Triggers
The following example shows a simple usage of
extended pulse of a predefined duration through relay output #1 (see Example 4-3).
On each incoming pulse, relay #1 will be operated for 1 second. Discrete input #1
must be configured as a pulse input to allow the setpoint to be operated.
