There are several possible answers with error messages:
:NACK:INVALID COMMAND
The command does not exist. Check if the spelling is
correct.
:NACK:COMMAND NOT ACCEPTED AT CURRENT
STATUS
It is not possible to execute the command sent at the
current status. Ask the current status of the interrogator
(:STAT?) and confer with scheme from Fig. 3.11 to see
how to change it.
:NACK: '?' MUST BE THE LAST CHARACTER
The sent command should have a '?' at the end of the
command string.
:NACK:ARGUMENT OUT OF RANGE
The defined value for the parameter that is being config­
ured with the command is outside the possible interval.
