Buffer Path Operation

1. Outline
When handling sheets A4, B5, or LTR in size, the finisher moves them through the buffer path
without stopping the copier even when job offset operation is taking place as follows:
1) When the first sheet arrives, the buffer inlet flapper solenoid (SL2) turns on to switch to the
buffer path. The switch-over occurs when the sheet of the previous job moves to the buffer inlet
flapper or the sheet has reached the copier pre-registration sensor.
2) The first sheet enters the buffer path.
