2. Aligning the Sheets
The alignment plates operate to put the sheets in order each time a sheet of paper is deposited in
the vertical path assembly. The alignment plates are mounted at the edges of the vertical path assembly.
The alignment plates also operate after stapling to prepare the stack for delivery.
