All devices must be daisy-chained with a power supply and RS-485 links to the Rosemount System
Controller. A single 4-20mA pair must be wired from only one of the chained devices to the
PLC/DCS/SCADA/Etc. The 4-20mA may be connected to any of the devices.
The Rosemount System Controller cabinet must be installed indoors, mounted on a wall, and wired to
the devices and a power supply for the computer operation. A single 24 Vdc power supply is
recommended for powering the computer and the devices. Consider power consumption as well. The
computer is rated 40 W with 24 Vdc power supply, and each device is rated 1.5 W with the same power
supply.
