Hardware inventory table
The hardware inventory table lists the following:
All sites included in the project with their names, descriptions, and server names.
For each site, the included vessels are listed with their names.
For each vessel, the devices related to that vessel are listed below it.
The table contains the following properties per the included items: Vessel, Serial Number, Hardware and
Firmware versions of the devices, Polling Address, model, and Connection type, Communication Port,
Chain ID and SCADA ID.
Note
SCADA ID - Each vessel gets its own SCADA ID, and each scanner has a separate SCADA ID. This allows
separating measurements of scanners from the vessel in multi-scanner system.
Chain ID is used in cases where the Rosemount 3DMultiVision is connected to multiple devices over
multiple chains and the user wants to connect to a specific device from the Rosemount 3DVision.
SCADA ID is assigned per vessel and used when connecting a SCADA system to retrieve the registers of
the vessel.
