GPRS + SMS
The Rosemount 5708 is connected via the InternetInternet using Rosemount LinkPro. This connection
uses SMS messages sent from another Rosemount LinkPro with a SIM card capable of sending SMS
messages that is connected to a serial COM Port on the same computer running the Rosemount
3DVision Server.
1. Select the serial COM port of the Rosemount LinkPro connected to the computer.
2. Select or set site name.
3. Set phone number of the Rosemount LinkPro connected to the Rosemount 5708.
4. Set the computer local IP port.
5. Set the external IP address (usually the router IP address).
6. Set the APN of the Rosemount LinkPro connected to the Rosemount 5708.
7. Select Finish.
