To create a new project:
1. Select New Project. The Wizard window appears.
2. In the Name field, enter a name for the new project.
3. In the # Sites field, enter the number of sites the project should manage (each site may contain
multiple vessels).

4. Select Next.
Note
If you are running the Rosemount 3DVision application you can specify one site and one vessel only. An
upgrade to the Rosemount 3DMultiVision version is required for configuring more than one site. Contact
your local Emerson
3DMultiVision.
5. Enter the site name (limited to 16 characters), number of vessels in the site, and number of
Rosemount 5708 in each vessel. Sites, vessels, and Rosemount 5708 can be edited later.
6. Select the connection type between the computer and the Rosemount 5708 in the site.
RS-485, TCP/IP, GPRS and GPRS+SMS connections are available. The very basic connection method is
