Echo Curve Analysis

Performing Echo Curve Analysis
The Echo Curve Analysis tool collects information from the Rosemount 5708 and presents it in a chart
-type report for each scan.
To perform an Echo Curve Analysis:
1. On the Device menu, select Echo Curve Analysis... or press Ctrl+Z.
2. Select the device(s) from the tree view pane. The devices are organized in a Site-Vessel-device view.
3. Optional: Select All Echoes Info to perform an analysis on the Rosemount 5708 to verify behavior in
the vessel.
4. Select Start to initiate a single time Echo Curve analysis.
5. Open Viewer to open the Echo curve viewer.
If a single analysis scan is performed, then the Echo Curve Viewer will automatically pop up. To view
the echo curve, see next chapter.

To perform continuous echo curve analysis, set the Every (mins) and the Duration (hours) and select
Start.
Every (mins): Sets the pause time between analysis scans, the pause time is measured in minutes and
by default set to five minutes. The pause time can be set between 3 to 1000 minutes.
Duration (hours): Set the period of time in hours to perform continuous analysis. Minimal value is 0.1
hour (six minutes) and maximal value is 999 hours (over 41 days).
