4. Measurement of Distance
Measures the distance and the angle between two arbitrary points on the image
displayed in the image view. The measurement result can be transferred to Excel by
selecting the [Use Excel] checkbox on the user setting dialog.
 [Measure/Release] button: When clicking the [Measure] button, the measurement mode is

5. Image Fix
Corrects the height of arbitrary three or nine positions on the image view in order to set
the position where the height is 0. When the structure of the observation specimen is on
inclined or curved surface, the inclined or curved surface is intentionally corrected to the
smooth surface, and only topography of the observation specimen is displayed.
 3 points:
When selecting 3 points and clicking the [Fix] button, the height of three
arbitrary points are fixed.
 9 points:
When selecting 9 points and clicking the [Fix] button, the height of nine arbitrary
points are fixed.
 Fix:
Executes the fix of the height according to the selected setting. When fixing the
height, the button is switched to [Release].
 Release: Releases the fix of the height and returns to former height setting. When
releasing the fix of the height, the [Release] button switches to the [Fix] button.

executed. While executing the measurement mode, the menu
of 3D-Image Viewer and the operation of the button are
ineffective. When clicking the [Release] button, the
measurement mode is canceled, and other operations become
available.
Automatically displays the dialog that shows the measurement
result by selecting the [Display values] checkbox. Deselect the
checkbox to close the dialog. The measurement result can be
deleted from the Measurement of distance dialog by clicking
the [Delete] button after selecting the measurement result
displayed on the Measurement of distance dialog.
When selecting the [Scale] checkbox, the scale on the image
view is displayed. The scale is not displayed when the
checkbox is not selected.
