When you double-click the left mouse button while the mouse cursor shows the
mark, either motor drive operation or image shift operation is automatically selected
according to the amount of movement and magnification. Also, the double-clicked
point moves to the center of the observation area.

Setting a Magnification

When the magnification is changed from low to high, the field of view becomes narrower,
together with brightness, contrast and focus changed correspondingly. In such cases,
appropriately operate the various auto buttons, such as auto B/C (see 4.2.9. 2.), auto
focusing (see 4.2.10. 2.) and manual focus adjustments (see 4.2.11. 1), to set conditions to
facilitate observation.
Magnification can be set by any of the following methods:
1. Clicking the Magnification Button

To increase the magnification, click the + button; to reduce it, click the – button. The
magnification changes by one stop at a time, while the button is held down. For the
number of available stops, see 4.3.16 or 1.3.
