1c. From the entry mode selection buttons, select the desired mode to enter data
(characters and graphics). For the details, refer to 2 Entry Mode Selection Buttons
described below.

1d. Click the [Save] button to save the image with data embedded. As a Save Image
window appears, enter the file name, and select the saving destination and the file
type. If not saving the image, click the [Cancel] button.
NOTE : Entered data (characters and graphics), once it is saved, cannot be edited.
Before saving the data, delete it by pressing the [Clear] button and re-enter the
modified data. Any deleted data cannot be recovered.
When a given specimen is observed under the same magnification, and yet it has
significant topographic surface features, the values obtained resulting from a quick
measurement may vary due to differences in focal positions. Also, size
measurements can yield different results between the center and the edges of the
image.
NOTE : The items predetermined in the [Setting for Save] window (see Figure 4.3.28) are
embedded in the [Information / comment] area (see 4.3.2) on the operation
window. To modify the conditions, click the [Edit] button (see 4.3.25) or select
[Setting for Save] from the [File] menu.
