Calibration Operations

The calibration condition is newly created without the calibration of [X,Y], [Z], and [Flat]. So,
each calibration procedure is explained as follows.

7.24.1 Calibration of X, Y

This function calibrates the horizontal (X-axis) and vertical (Y-axis) size of the image in the
image view. The size in horizontal direction (X) and vertical direction (Y) is automatically set
from the capture magnification of the image imported. Normally, the calibration of X and Y
size is not required. When the size measurement is executed on the imported image, and
there is an error of measurement, execute the calibration of X and Y. Using the specimen
whose size in horizontal direction (X) and vertical direction (Y) are known such as the
meshes, execute the calibration of X and Y size.
1. Capture the specimen whose size in horizontal direction (X) and vertical direction (Y) are
known such as the meshes with the 3D-Image capture. And then, import the image using
3D-Image Viewer.
2. Select the [X,Y] from the [Calibration] menu, or click the [X, Y] button on the main
operation screen of 3D-Image Viewer view.
3. The message in Figure 7.24.1-1 is displayed. When clicking the positions in which the
size between two points is known, the Image Measure dialog and the size between two
points are displayed. After selecting the number that shows the position in which the size
between two points is known, click the [Next] button on the message window shown in
Figure 7.24.1-1.
