If you selected SSH, click Yes.

Enter the user name (default = admin).

If you selected Telnet:

Enter the user name (default = admin).

Enter the password (default = admin).
Telnet - Windows XP
The following shows how to open a Telnet
connection to the ES8508 using Windows XP.
1. Go to Start -> Run -> cmd and then press Enter.
2. Type Telnet 192.168.250.250 (or the IP address
of the ES8508) and then press Enter.
3. Enter the Login Name and Password. The
default login name and password are admin.
All the commands you see in SSH are the same as
the CLI commands you see through the RS-232
console.
