You can select to Enable or Disable the DHCP Server function. The ES8508
assigns a new IP address to link partners.
Enter the IPv4 address for the DHCP server.
Enter the subnet mask for the DHCP server.
Enter the IP gateway address for the DHCP server.
Enter the Lease Time in seconds for the client.
Click Apply to apply the settings.
Note: You must Save the settings
settings if the ES8508 is powered off.
You can type a specific address into the IP Address field for the DHCP server
reserved IP address.
The IP address that is listed in the Excluded Address List Table is not assigned
to the network device. Add or remove an IP address from the Excluded Address
List by clicking Add or Remove.
The ES8508 provides an IP address binding and removing function. Enter the
specified IP address, and then click Add to add a new IP address binding rule
for a specified link partner, like a PLC, or any device without DHCP client
function.
To remove an IP address from the Manual Binding List, highlight the rule and
click Remove.
The ES8508 provides a MAC address binding and removing function. Enter
the specified MAC address, and then click Add to add a new MAC address
binding rule for a specified link partner, like a PLC, or any device without
DHCP client function.
The MAC address format is xxxx.xxxx.xxxx; for example, 00C0.4E3A.0001.
To remove a MAC address from the Manual Binding List, highlight the rule
and click Remove.
Enter the client port number for the DHCP server.
Enter the client IP address for the DHCP server.
After entering the port number and IP address, click Add. To remove a port
and associated IP address, click Remove. Click Reload to reload selected port
and IP address entries.
