the split pin

in the stub axle

further to enable the split pin to be fitted. Check
that the wheel
rotates easily
without
any
play.
11. Fill the grease
cap

full
of
grease
and fit it
with tool
SYO
2715.
12. Fit the front wheel brake unit according to Part
5.
13. Lift on the wheel af ter having cleaned any
grit
and dirt from the
contact surfaces
between the
wheel and hub, and then tighten up the nuts
suffi·
ciently so that the wheel
can
not be
displaced
on
the hub. Lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel
nuts firmly. Tighten
every
other nut
a
little at a
time until all of them
are
finally tightened to a
torque of 10-14 kgm (70-100 Ib.ft.).
Fit
the hub
cap.
