4.7.1

Description

The Digital Station/SLT/Loop Start Analogue Trunk Combination
blade provides eight Digital Station ports, two analog ports and four
loop start analogue trunk ports.
This blade displays the same characteristics as a CD-LTA blade
fitted with a PZ-4COTE analogue trunk daughter board installed with
the exception being that they cannot be seperated.
The blade provides:
Eight Digital Station ports
Two analog extension ports
Four loop start analogue trunk ports
Two status LEDs

4.7.2

Installation

Install the CD-8LTCH blade into any available universal slot.

When connecting a fax machine or analog
modem, make sure to set Program 15-03-03 to
1 (special terminal) to avoid communication
problems.
The SLIU and SLIDB are categorized as
TNV2. With this designation, off-premise
wiring is not acceptable. Any cabling to the
SLIDB PCB must be within the building – no
outside cabling is permitted.
Branch connection is not acceptable.
CTA adapter fitted to Model C telephone is not
supported on an LTCH blade.
