The standard front panel RF OUT connector is a female type-N 50 Q
connector. When Option 1EC is ordered, this front panel connector is a
female type-N 75 n connector.
This port outputs the RF signal and also serves as an input for reflection
measurements.
The standard front panel RF IN connector is a female type-N 50 fl connector.
When Option 1EC is ordered, this front panel connector is a female
type-N 75 fI connector.
This port receives the RF signal for internal transmission measurements.
While 50 fl and 75 61 Type-N connectors are similar in appearance, they are
not
compatible. 75 6) type-N connectors have a smaller center pin. Connector
damage can result if you attach a 50 0 male connector to a 75 fl female
connector.
For adapting from 50 Q female to 75 D female use an HP 11852B,

Option 004, minimum loss pad.
For adapting from 75 0 female to 50 Q female, use a standard HP 11852B
l
minimum loss pad.
