Drive unit reset
Description: Sets the required procedure to execute a hardware reset for the drive unit.
0: Inactive
1: Hardware reset immediate
2: Hardware reset preparation
Danger: It must be absolutely ensured that the system is in a safe condition.
The memory card/device memory of the Control Unit must not be accessed.
Note: If value = 1:
Reset is immediately executed and communications interrupted.
If value = 2:
Help to check the reset operation.
Firstly, set p0972 = 2 and then read back. Secondly, set p0972 = 1 (it is possible that this request is possibly
no longer acknowledged). The communication is then interrupted.
After the drive unit has been restarted and communications have been established, read p0972 and check the
following:
p0972 = 0? → The reset was successfully executed.
p0972 > 0? → The reset was not executed.
p0977
Save all parameters
Description: Saves all parameters of the drive system to the non-volatile memory.
When saving, only the adjustable parameters intended to be saved are taken into account.
Value = 0: Inactive
Value = 1: Save in non-volatile memory - downloaded at POWER ON
Notice: The Control Unit power supply may only be powered down after data has been saved (i.e. after data
save has been started, wait until the parameter again has the value 0).
Writing to parameters is inhibited while saving.

JOG 1 speed setpoint
Description: Sets the speed/velocity for JOG 1. Jogging is level-triggered and allows the motor to be incre-
mentally moved.
Note: The parameter values displayed on the BOP are integers.

Maximum speed
Description: Sets the highest possible speed.
Notice: After the value has been modified, no further parameter modifications can be made.
Note: The parameter values displayed on the BOP are integers.
The parameter applies for both motor directions.
The parameter has a limiting effect and is the reference quantity for all ramp-up and ramp-down times (e.g.
down ramps, ramp-function generator and motor potentiometer).
The range of the parameter is different when connect with different motors.

Speed limit in positive

Description: Sets the maximum speed for the positive direction.
Note: The parameter values displayed on the BOP are integers.
