7.8 Toner Container

7.8.1 Overview
iR2270 / iR2870 / iR3570 / iR4570 / iR3530
The toner cartridge is constructed as shown in the following figure. The cartridge is filled with 1-component
insulating magnetic toner (if iR3570/4570, 1220 g; if iR2270/2870, 1060 g). When the sub hopper requests a supply
of toner, the cartridge itself rotates to feed toner. The machine's toner cartridge serves as a hopper (as it is found in
past models).
