Note Only one door lock control is available using an optional PCB (PIOU, PIOUS, or
PEPU) and only the optional PCB with the lowest Program 03 Code (41, 42, or 43)
will provide the door lock function.
1. Set Program 77-1 LED 07 to On to configure the PIOU, PIOUS, or PEPU PCB for the
door lock control function
2. Set Program 77-1 LED 20 to Off for a three-second door lock activation time, or set
LED 20 to On for a six-second door lock activation time.
3. If using a PIOU or PEPU, set the P10 jumper plug on the PIOU or PEPU to the MAKE
or BREAK position, as required:

MAKE – Shorts the normally open contacts (pins 7 and 32) when a station's door
lock button is pressed.

BREAK – Opens the normally closed contacts (pins 7 and 32) when a station's door
lock button is pressed.

If using a PIOUS, solder the W1 jumper plug on the PIOUS to the MAKE or BREAK
position, as required:

MAKE – Shorts the normally open contacts (DET and DER) when a station's door
lock button is pressed.

BREAK – Opens the normally closed contacts (DET and DER) when a station's
Door Lock button is pressed.
4. See Figure 6-9 for wiring/interconnecting details. Connect the PIOU, PIOUS, or PEPU
to the MDF as required for the door lock control function.
