b. Holding the mixing rods in one hand, wipe each mixing rod with lint-free towels

Monitoring Reagent Tray Temperature

NOTE: This procedure adds a mandatory additional step to the daily maintenance
procedure. The daily Maintenance Log page is updated and available from the online
Operator's Guide.
Complete the following procedure daily to monitor reagent tray temperatures and increase
reagent stability:
1. Turn power to the system off.
2. Open the top cover.
3. Remove tray covers.
4. Examine RTT1 and RTT2 to determine if the DI H2O reagent wedges need to be filled
with water. Fill as needed.
5. If water was added, replace the reagent tray covers and allow the water temperature to
stabilize for at least 30 minutes.
