5. Diagnostics
The Diagnostics section of the Service Guide refers directly to the 'Service' menu accessed
on the Robomow Manual controller. The Robomow has a series of self-diagnostic tests that
allow it to pinpoint problems or test systems affecting the operation. By entering the 'Service'
menu and selecting the specific system or component test, the Robomow will display either a
'Pass' or 'Fail' message or display a fault code, which is referenced in Section 5.6 to
determine the nature of the problem.
This section closely cross-references with Section 3, Troubleshooting. In Section 3, many
of the troubleshooting flow charts request a specific diagnostic test to be performed. The
results of each of these diagnostic tests are then used to determine the system or component of
failure. This section outlines the procedure for performing these tests as well as an
interpretation of the results, found in the Fault Code Tables, Section 5.6.
