If you have the combustibles option, you are also prompted to calibrate
the combustibles span gas:

Press Enter when the combustibles span gas reading(s) stabilizes on
the far left of the display. If you have the methane option with RTD-type
combustibles detector, combustibles and methane are handled simultane-
ously using a single calibration gas. If you have the methane option with
the Hot-wire type combustibles detector, the combustibles and methane
are handled separately using two calibration gases.
Then, if you specified a recovery time, the system will display the recov-
ery time remaining:
The system returns to monitoring process readings.

Manual Calibrate/Manual Verify

Verify the type of combustibles detector (Hot Wire or RTD type) in-
stalled on the unit before proceeding. Specific instructions are given
for the Hot Wire and the RTD type.
To perform a manual calibration or verification, follow these steps:
1.
Enter the calibration gas values to match the span and zero calibration
gases you intend to use to calibrate or verify your system.
2.
Select initiate Cal or initiate Verify from the Calibrate key menu, de-
pending on whether you want to perform a calibration or verification.
3.
Select Manual Calibrate or Manual Verify.
You are prompted to apply the O
on the sensor (tubing must be free of oil and dirt):
