3.3 EMI Considerations
3.3.2 Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI)

WARNING
!
The gantry and table must be installed only in
x-ray protected rooms providing an attenuation
of > 12 db for radio disturbances from 30 MHz
to 1 GHz. (See specifications in IEC 60601-1-2,
First Edition, 1993)
The CT PDU produces an electromagnetic field
that radiates outward from its cabinet in all
directions.
The UPS provides a consistent power supply in
normal conditions and during a site-wide
power outage.
Do not place sensitive electronics, for example
console or computer equipment within 1 m of
the CT PDU or 1 m of the UPS, in any direction
(including above or below)
Note:
The UPS and CT PDU are not classified
as sensitive electronics.
